After a 10 year delay, numerous permits, and over $150,000 invested by the Access4Bikes community, we finally have a green light from the city and county (and the generous landowners) to begin construction on Phase 2 of Caballo Rojo Trail!

This is going to be a great addition to the Tamarancho trail system, adding a downhill-only flow trail from Goldman Trail to the lower part of Iron Springs Road, creating a safer experience for all.

Access4Bikes will begin construction in August 2025 and if all goes as planned, expect an opening date later in winter 2025. We’re estimating this will take another $75,000 for material and construction costs.
